The hole for an attachment screw is already molded into the case. A similar hex head or hex drive screw could be used and could be installed without removing the scanner. As the screw goes into plastic; a wood or sheet metal screw could also be used. Glue, tape, or nothing could also be used and I would expect satisfactory results.
